As the 2026 breeding season approaches, Sumbe is proud to unveil its updated stallion fees — a decision guided by a strong desire to support French breeders and encourage continued investment in quality bloodlines.
With the exception of Charyn, who will stand his second season at an unchanged fee following his brilliant racing career and a highly encouraging first book of mares, all other stallions see their nomination prices reduced for the coming season.
“Our mission has always been to make excellence accessible,” said Nurlan Bizakov, owner of Sumbe. “We believe in long-term collaboration with breeders and this adjustment is our way of showing that commitment in a tangible way. By revising our fees we’re giving breeders a genuine opportunity to access top-class stallions that match their goals and budgets”
The move positions Sumbe as a key ally for breeders seeking both value and top-class genetic potential — with a roster that offers variety, depth, and performance at every level.
A roster rich in talent and diversity:
Charyn (Dark Angel – Futoon) will continue to stand for €35,000 (Live Foal).
Europe’s outstanding miler of 2024, winner of the Queen Anne Stakes, Prix Jacques le Marois, and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, Charyn begins his second season at stud with tremendous momentum. His first book of mares featured many of Europe’s best-bred individuals, reflecting the confidence breeders have already placed in him.
Among the fee reductions, Mishriff (Make Believe – Contradict) stands out.
The multiple Group 1-winning globetrotter — who triumphed in the Prix du Jockey Club, Saudi Cup, and Dubai Sheema Classic — will stand at €12.500 (Live Foal). Few sires combine his versatility, class, and international appeal, and his first foals have already drawn attention for their scope and quality.
Angel Bleu (Dark Angel – Cercle de la Vie), the dual Group 1-winning Champion Two-Year- Old, will be available at €6,000 (Live Foal).
His first foals are everything one could hope for — strong, athletic, and full of presence — confirming the promise of a stallion whose own racing career was defined by precocity and courage.
Belbek (Showcasing – Bee Queen), another Group 1-winning juvenile and proudly bred by Sumbe, also sees his fee adjusted to €5,000 (Live Foal).
His blend of speed and class, combined with a proven pedigree, continues to appeal to breeders looking for genuine precocity and commercial appeal.
And finally, Golden Horde (Lethal Force – Entreat), the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup winner
at Royal Ascot, offers one of the most compelling value propositions for 2025.
His fee is set at €3,000 (Live Foal). His first crop of three-year-olds has performed beyond expectations — achieving 46% winners, with Group 1 performers and Listed race victors among them. His progenies are showing the same strength, speed, and determination that made him a top sprinter on the track, establishing Golden Horde as a young stallion on the rise.
With world-class facilities at Haras de Montfort et Préaux and a growing international reputation, Sumbe continues to combine ambition with accessibility, offering a stallion roster that represents quality without compromise.
